Ollie B. is the result of a lifetime of reading and loving children’s literature, especially the works of Roald Dahl, Madeleine L’Engle, C.S. Lewis, and Ursula K. Le Guin. But some of those older books didn’t turn out to be as timeless as we hoped, especially in terms of diversity and themes. And so many “YA” books these days are a little too mature or violent for most kids. I wondered: Is there still room for the imaginations of the Pevensie children? Are there yet wizarding worlds to explore? Can we have those worlds back?
